Climbing the Mountain

Unfortunately, after such a wonderful week with all of the support from the Los Angeles media, our “little star” Jasmine is really climbing the mountain hard and isn’t feeling very well due to the side effects during this third week of radiation treatments.  She is so weak that the doctors cancelled her chemo for this week, although they will continue with the radiation.

Jasmine is understandably a bit cranky and prefers remaining silent, and having her surroundings quiet and peaceful.  She’s on a liquid diet and her mouth is giving her a lot of pain with blisters and sore gums.

We would appreciate  if you  would make some specific musical recommendations for Jasmine (classical pieces, ambient tracks, etc.).

We love you Jasmine!

  1. I hope Jasmine is feeling better soon. I wanted you to know that my daughter was diagnosed with alveolar rhabdo when she was 13, and over the year of tough treatment she had some pretty bad moments. Radiation and chemo together was THE WORST! But I’m very happy to say that was in 1996, she’s now 29, has been cancer free since then, and you would never know to look at her what she went through. I am right now President of the Board of the Sarcoma Alliance, and Chair of the Children’s Oncology Group Patient Advocacy Committee, and I’d be happy to communicate with you if you like. I can say that she is in very good hands at UCLA; the docs there are excellent.

  2. Ciao Jasmine! Just be strong and keep it up. We all love u and we r all closed to u every day. This song is for you because I want you to Vincere (win)!!
    Love u,
    Vivy xxx
