Jasmine finished her last treatment of her first road map and we hope that everything goes as planned. Her last treatment went really well. But to be honest she really does not want to go back….. As you will see Jasmine will be taking another small break from Chemo. We are going back to the hospital on Feb 11th and she will have to undergo many testings. She will have to have a CT scan and an MRI. While waiting for her result she will begin her second road map .”ROAD MAP” represent different cycles of chemo treatment
In the meantime, we like to keep Jasmine focused on new activities. We brought up the idea of having her take some cooking classes. She decided to go to sushi and Japanese cooking school ,where she will be surrounded by food! This way her taste buds can start to have a change of style. She had a special request and wanted to start to play the piano. Wow, what an AMAZING request! Piano is such a soothing instrument. Even before Jasmine was diagnosed with cancer, she would play with her keyboard almost everyday (learning it online). She would use white labels and write the letters on the labels and stick them on the key pads. She was determined! Those fingers were going to go from one end to the other end of the keyboard. Her passion to want to learn to play the piano is going to happen. She is enrolled to start piano lessons and has already had one lesson. She truly loves it! And of course she is really enjoying the cooking class.
Hey Jasmin maybe you can get Stevie Wonder to give you some piano lessons!! Wouldn’t that be a blast. Keep fighting kiddo and we will keep praying. I was thrilled to see you got support from Italy, YEAH!!

Hey Jasmine, GREAT IDEA!! Love the piano! Yeah, you really have passion. I always remember how much time you spent showing me the new songs you were trying to learn. I would play a song and you would play one too… Every time you would play a song, you had a beautiful smile on your face. Your talent will take you so far! I love you and I cannot wait to hear what you are learning. Oh yeah, by the way I like California Rolls…
